1. Select a container that will hold enough water to immerse the lower unit of your engine and cover the water intake.

2. For each gallon of water in the container, add 2-3 ounces of Salt-Away Concentrate.

3. Immerse the lower unit of your outboard engine into the Salt-Away solution, making sure the water intake is below the water line.

4. When the gear is in the Neutral position, start the engine.

5. Run engine 20-30 seconds. Shut engine off and remove from container.

6. It is ok to save the leftover Salt-Away solution in the container for the next flush.
